NASSAU, BAHAMAS — On Holy Saturday, K’s Heart for Kids distributed sweet treats, food, clothes, shoes, baby items, and groceries to hundreds of people in hopes of spreading goodwill during the Easter weekend.
Boxes of candies were distributed to children’s homes throughout the country leading up to the event.
“There is a great economic need within our country. We are contacted on a weekly basis by moms seeking assistance,
said Kashannise Hanna, Founder and President.
“If you are able to help a family in need, help them. You may know a mother struggling to find food, clothes, shelter or even a babysitter, lend help and support to her. It is incumbent upon each of us to do our part in making the Bahamas a better, peaceful country for our future generation. We are the village!” For those interested in assisting the nonprofit organization, KK’sHeart is accepting donations and can be found on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
