Press Secretary defends PM decision on Sir Roland

Press Secretary for the Office of the Prime Minister Anthony Newbold told media Tuesday that debate on the bill to allow for the redevelopment of theOver-the-Hill communities will commence next week.

The bill, if passed, will make the communities tax-free zones as a way means to spur economic growth.

Newbold also defended Prime Minister D.r Hubert Minnis’ decision to include Sir Roland Symonette on the National Hero’s list.

He said despite having an advisory committee in place, the nation’s leader is free to choose whomever he wishes.
