Just four weeks before the July 31 deadline for all shanty town residents to relocate from their current homes, the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) opposition has expressed concern that the soon-to-be displaced residents have not been able to find affordable rent or have been discriminated against by landlords.
Leader of the Opposition Philip Davis said that the fact that the government imposed a deadline with no plan to assist these persons is a cause for concern.
