Jonquel Jones posted a career-high five three-pointers on Wednesday night, in the Connecticut Sun’s 101-89 win against the Indiana Fever.

Jones played 21 minutes and came up with 21 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

The Sun will be in action again on Sunday, July 1, against the Seattle Storm. Chiney Ogwumike also scored 21 points in the win. Courtney Williams had 13, Shekinna Stricklen added 12 and Jasmine Thomas added 10 points, six assists, and four rebounds.

Victoria Vivians had 25 points on 10-14 shooting in the loss for the Fever. Kelsey Mitchell had 15 points and Candice Dupree added 14.

Jasmine Thomas converted a traditional 3-point play and Shekinna Stricklen hit back-to-back 3-pointers before Ogwumike made two free throws to make it 11-0 and the Sun never trailed.

Jones hit two 3s in a 38-second span, to spark a 10-0 run that made it 30-12 late in the first quarter. The Sun led by double digits the rest of the way.
