NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Princess Margaret Hospital Medical/Surgical East and Male Surgical Wards received a donation of eight Smart Televisions from Bahamas Harvest Church.
Making the donation on behalf of Bahamas Harvest Church, were Pastor Mario Moxey, Ms. Nivette Missick, Assimilations Coordinator, and Sherron Young, Marketing Manager.
Moxey said: “Each year we are blessed with an opportunity to give back to PMH Patients and staff, unfortunately with the result of the Covid- 19 Pandemic we were unable to fulfill our continued efforts.
“Fortunately, on behalf of the leadership and congregation of the Bahamas Harvest Church, we are so honored to present these televisions to you in order to aid in the patient’s recovery and overall success with their journey back to health.”
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) were Sister Joanne Oliver, Nursing Officer I, Sister Ella Anderson, Acting Deputy Principal Nursing Officer, and Assistant Director of Communications, Thelma Rolle Fernander who worked with The Bahamas Harvest Team to make the donation a reality.
“The PMH team is delighted to accept this thoughtful donation,” Anderson said.
“On behalf of our patients, we send a special thank you to your congregation as these TVs will aid in the therapeutic recovery of our patients as they recover comfortably whilst in Hospital”.
