NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police have confirmed that a collaborative effort between officers from the Drug Enforcement and K-9 Units on Wednesday August 14, 2024 led to the arrest of a 43-year-old male and the seizure of 42 pounds of suspected marijuana worth an estimated $42,000.00.
Initial reports revealed that around 5:00 p.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Kim’s Crescent off Baillou Hill Road, where during the search, they discovered and confiscated the dangerous drugs, which led to the arrest of the 43-year-old sole male occupant.
Investigations are ongoing.
