40th CARICOM business sessions get underway

GROS ISLET, ST. LUCIA — Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis attended the first business session of the 40th regular meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government in St. Lucia.  Items on the agenda for the July 4thsession include blacklisting, the SIDS Resilience Foundation and the CSME.

CARICOM’s special guest, Her Excellency Erna Solberg, Prime Minister of Norway, also addressed yesterday’s session.

Bahamas Senator, the Hon. Jennifer Isaacs-Dotson, President of the Caribbean Congress of Labour (CCL), also engaged with representatives of the private sector, labour and civil society.
