100 rounds of .762 ammunition found in abandoned building

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in the capital recovered a large quantity of ammunition on Saturday, May 25, 2019.

According to police reports, shortly after 2:00p.m. on Saturday, Central Detective Unit Officers, acting on information, conducted a search of an abandoned building on Williams Lane off Kemp Road and recovered 100rounds of .762 ammunition.

No arrest was made in this incident and investigations are ongoing.
