NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are investigating two weekend traffic fatalities.
In the first fatality, a man was struck by a Kia Jeep while walking on East Street, south of Wulff Road, shortly after 11pm on Saturday.
The injured man was transported to hospital and later pronounced dead, according to police.
The second fatality took place in Spanish Wells, Eleuthera on Sunday.
According to reports, a man lost control of his red 2015 Honda Civic and crashed into a concrete wall.
The man sustained serious serious injuries, and was transported to the Community Clinic.
He was pronounced dead at the clinic.
Officers from the RBPF Traffic Department in New Providence are expected to travel to Spanish Wells to continue investigations into this incident.
