NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Bahamian Joshua Turnquest enters his senior year at Ashbury University. Last year, Joshua had a stellar season, he was named River State  Conference(RSC) Male Athlete Of The Year. Turnquest who held the ITA All American Honors title was also ranked #16 Nationally in College Tennis for 2019.

This past week The Asbury University men tennis team won six of the nine draws at the RSC Individual Tournament. Leading the way, Turnquest won his flight draw at No. 1 singles with a 7-5, 6-1 win over Brescia and a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Midway. In doubles, the combination of  Turnquest and Penula won the Green Draw.

The Bahamas Lawn Tennis Association congratulates Joshua on his season opening wins and wishes him and the Eagles well for the upcoming tennis season.
