The Bahamas set to host North American IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- The Bahamas will host The North American IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge at The National Tennis Centre November 9th-11th 2019. The countries participating are Barbados, USA, Mexico and The Bahamas.

The competition features top players 16 years of age and under in the North American grouping. Representing The Bahamas is a quartet of talented juniors: Gabrielle Simms, Peyton Anderson, Jacobi Bain and Denali Nottage.

In 2004 the International Lawn Tennis Club (IC) Junior Challenge was introduced. In this tournament teams of boys and girls of 16 and under represent their countries and take part in elimination competitions on their continent. With this format  IC’s objective for the boys and girls is that they  “experience the pleasure of performing where interdependency is key.”
