The Sunwing Group, which had a partnership with the government to supply visitors to Grand Bahama is considering cancelling its service to that island after reaching an impasse with the government, according to a statement released Thursday.
Company officials said they have been unable to renew the agreement with the government, which recently purchased the Our Lucaya resort.
Sunwing has been credited with providing the island of Grand Bahama with as many as 30,000 annual visitors.
The company’s Memories resort exited Grand Bahama in January last year.
