Sun Oil Limited donates to a good cause

Rufus Johnson, Marketing Manager of Sun Oil Limited (centre) presents a check to President Freeman Deveaux (left) and Secretary Peter Armstrong of the Antique Auto Club of the Bahamas. The donation was given in support of the club’s efforts to raise funds for the Ranfurly Home and The Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled.

The Club is set to hold its 32nd Annual Car Show & Steak Out, where all proceeds will go to the aforementioned charities. The event, scheduled for March 23 at Arawak Cay, will feature “immaculate antique cars” from the 1950s and 1960s, said Deveaux. He also noted that there will be a car from 1929 on display. The event runs from noon to 6 pm.

Of Sun Oil Limited’s donation, Deveaux said: “They are a great partner because their donation goes a long way in assisting us with our objective to assist charities and make life better for the children in those charities. Sun Oil brings a lot of recognition to our club by partnering with us in the wider community.”
