Solomon’s Fresh Market pairs up with Zonta Club of Nassau for wine & cheese fundraiser

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — This Friday, March 29, Solomon’s Fresh Market and the Zonta Club of Nassau will host a fundraiser to benefit the club’s social outreach initiatives.

An evening of wine, cheese and food pairings will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Harbour Bay location.

Guests will sample wine provided by event cosponsor Bristol Wines & Spirits.

Solomon’s Fresh Market Brand Manager, Naomi Grant is looking forward to welcoming patrons supporting the worthy cause and showcasing specialty food options available in store.

“We’re excited to partner with the Zonta Club of Nassau as they continue to work within the community through their advocacy and outreach programs. Our customers respond positively to in-store events that are informative, educational and allow them to support great causes,” Grant said.

“In addition to sampling our store’s selection of food products for special occasions, the wine-pairing event will also allow the non-profit group an opportunity to share their upcoming projects with participants.”

Founded in 1982, the Zonta Club of Nassau is a non-profit service organization focused on meeting the needs of women and families through advocacy. The group also supports various causes impacting women in the community.

Club President LaToya Johnson, thanked AML Foods Limited for supporting the organization’s goals and objectives throughout the years.

“The Zonta Club of Nassau is pleased to partner once again with AML Foods Limited, a wonderful corporate partner in the community.  Over the years, AML has provided us the opportunity to collect back-to-school items from customers at their stores and donate to needy families within the community,” Johnson said.

“We will use the proceeds from the upcoming event to continue with our mission of empowering women and girls through service and advocacy initiatives.”

Event tickets are $25 and are available at the Customer Service Desk at Solomon’s Fresh Market locations in the Harbour Bay Shopping Plaza or at Old Fort Bay Town Center. Product sampling and wine-pairing will begin at 6:00 pm and end at 9:00 p.m.
