Shooting in GB injures two males

GRAND BAHAMA – Police in the nation’s second city are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Sunday, July 7, 2019.

According to police reports, shortly before 4:00a.m. on Sunday, police were called to a business establishment on East Sunrise Highway, where it is reported that a lone gunman opened fire, hitting two males. One of the males sustained injuries to the upper body and the other to the lower body. Both males were transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via Emergency Medical Services and as of yesterday, they were listed in serious condition.

Police in Grand Bahama said they are aggressively investigating this incident and are appealing to the public for any information that they may have, to call them at the Central Detective Unit at 350- 3107-12 or the police emergency line at 911 or 919.
