NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Members of the Royal Bahamas Defence Force’s Electrical Engineering team completed a community outreach project at the Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled School on June 28.

The team, led by Chief Petty Officer Marchellow Charlow installed and repaired faulty switches and lights throughout the home. The Engineering team also conducted maintenance checks of other electrical apparatus to ensure the safety of the building.

The Bahamas Association for the Physically Disabled was also the beneficiary of last year’s regional military Tradewinds Exercise when participating troops conducted repairs of the school and interacted with students.

The Defence Force Engineering Department is headed by Senior Lieutenant Gordon Roberts.

The Royal Bahamas Defence Force is committed to guarding the territorial borders of The Bahamas while helping others.
