NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in New Providence are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the persons responsible for two separate armed robberies that occurred over the weekend.
According to police reports, in the first incident on Friday, March 8, shortly before 10:00 p.m., a male pulled into the driveway of his Christie Avenue home and was accosted by a man armed with a handgun, who robbed him of his Black 2013 Honda Accord license plate #AM5607 before speeding away.
In the second incident, on Saturday, March 9, shortly before 2:00 a.m., a female pulled into the driveway of her home located on Zion Boulevard and was approached by a man armed with a firearm, who robbed her of a Samsung S-6 cellphone and her Silver Nissan Teana license plate #AK5560 and sped away.
Investigations are ongoing.
