Police investigate traffic fatality on Long Island

Police on Long Island are investigating a traffic accident which left a man dead on Wednesday.

According to reports, shortly after 2:00 p.m. yesterday, a man was driving a blue 2008 Honda Accord car in the area of McKenzie Hill, Hard Bargain, Long Island, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall.

Medical personnel were called to the scene and attempted to revive the victim but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers from the Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) Traffic Department will travel to Long Island to assist with this investigation.
