NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The country will enter a weekend lockdown today at 10pm until Monday, July 27, at 5am.

“This will apply to all islands of The Bahamas, excluding Grand Bahama where a lockdown is currently in place,” read a statement from the Office of the Prime Minister.

“Please note that grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations will be permitted to operate during this time period, from 7am to 5pm for all members of the public.

“The Prime Minister will provide additional details at the Ministry of Health’s Press Conference scheduled for 6pm today, Friday 24 July 2020.

“The press conference will be carried live on local television stations and Facebook,” it added.

As of yesterday, there were 274 confirmed cases of coronavirus — 119 in New Providence, 120 in Grand Bahama, 21 in Bimini, four in the Berry Islands, four in Cat Cay, two in Cat Island, three in Moore’s Island, and one in Great Guana Cay.

The whole world is infected. Will they lockdown Bahamas for the next 10 years??

And not help their people with any type of relief programs and stimulus, the rental assistance was a joke and the only thing comes to the PM mind is lockdown everything. His decisions are really weak as a nation leader.

This is a lot of confusions ?Please we need National pray day Mr. Prime Minister until the end of the year. We truly need God in this time to solve this problem God is calling us back to prayer actually back to Him to humble our selves…. don’t you get it but you done your best though, we really need God deeply to level up and up grade our Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding of what should you do for this country our beautiful Bahama land where God’s live and love sooo much truly to lead this country ACCORDING TO HIS WILL not people flashly will of their “saying” that pulling the country douwn making it even worse. And Please stop selling our Land because God is not please with that at the end of the day this is a Christian nation where we worship our almighty God freely, in couple of years God forbid when these foreign people bring their golden gods to worship and force us too and plus we will not own our beautiful Bahama land there will be nothing for the Bahamian people… please sir, Thank you.
