Plans developing for Faye Rolle Classic

The Bahamas Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (BBFF) is set to honour one of its longtime members in the coming weeks when it hosts the second edition of the Faye Rolle Classic.

The event is set for November 3rd at the University of The Bahamas Auditorium. The classic features nine open categories.

Rolle’s daughter, Latoya Rahming is also helping with the preparations and said she has been overwhelmed by the support the event has received from the local bodybuilding community.

“Things have been going good so far, it’s just getting people to know what it’s all about and who it is for,” Rahming said.

“After my mom got sick and I knew she wouldn’t be the same, I remembered she always wanted to host her own classic. I told a few of the BBFF executives about it one of the times they came to check on her, and we began to put it all together.

“I’m glad her dream is able to be manifested through me. I just wish she could comprehend what was going on. The fact that bodybuilding competitors have to pick which shows they want to compete in early in the year, and they chose to compete in this, it means a lot.”

Tickets for the event are priced as follows- $20 for general, and $30 for VIP.
