Officers hand out back to school safety tips

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Officers from the National Crime Prevention Office led by Superintendent Shanta Knowles conducted a walk about in the Southwest Plaza and Golden Gates plaza where officers handed out safety tips to members of the public. The flyers were focused on back to school safety tips and child abduction safety tips, in wake of school opening in a few days. This initiative is in accordance with the Commissioner’s Policing plan Priority Two: Public and Road Safety. While in the area the business owners also applauded the Royal Bahamas Police Force for making a consistent presence in the Southwest and Golden Gates Plazas.
