Education Minister Jeff Lloyd set the record straight Tuesday on whether undocumented children will be allowed to register in the government school system.

Lloyd told reporters at Cabinet yesterday that no child will be turned away regardless of their status.

He said, in fact, that even Bahamian students would not receive special treatment when it came to placement at schools and noted that all children will be afforded the same opportunity as it relates to education.
