Shaunae Miller-Ubio remains undefeated on the 2019 season.
On the weekend, she picked up another win in the 200-meters (m), this time at the International Association of Athletic Federations (IAAF) Diamond League stop in Monaco at Stade Louis II Stadium.
She crossed the line in a new season’s best of 22.09 seconds, erasing her previous season-best time of 22.18 seconds last Tuesday at the Gyulai Istvan Memorial in Szekesfehervar.
“The quicker I get at 200m, the quicker I’d be at 400m” she said. “I am really happy with where I’m at right now”.
Steven Gardiner also picked up a win in Hungary. He crossed the line first in the 400 with a time of 44.51 seconds.
“I feel pretty good. I think I’m getting better as the meets come by,”Gardiner said about his performance.
“I felt pretty good its a season best so I’m happy I got the win.”
