Mary Walker moved as PMH Administrator

Administrator of Princess Margaret Hospital Mary Walker has been removed from that position and transferred to the Sandilands Rehabilitation Centre.

A press release from the Public Hospitals Authority on Sunday afternoon, confirmed the transfer. Walker will fill the post of hospital administrator at Sandilands left vacant by Ruth Albury who begins pre-retirement leave this month, capping 46 years of service.

Walker has given 40 years of service, with 15 in a managerial capacity. She was appointed hospital administrator at PMH in 2013 under the former administration, where she served in that capacity until her removal recently.

Now as for the top position left vacant at PMH, Eyewitness News understands that a new Chief Hospital Administrator is aggressively being pursued.
