ABACO, BAHAMAS – Police on the island of Abaco are investigating a shooting incident, which occurred on Friday, May 17, 2019 and left a male with injuries.
According to police reports, shortly before 11:00a.m. last Friday, an argument ensued between two males while in the Pigeon Peas community, when one of the males withdrew a handgun and shot the other male several times about the body before fleeing the scene.
The male victim was taken by private vehicle to the Abaco Health Centre and was said to be listed in stable condition.
Police are actively investigating this matter.
