Man shot dead at home in Fox Hill

The country’s latest murder was recorded shortly after 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning, after police found a man shot to death in his own home.

According to reports, police responded to a call about shots being fired on Abner Street in the Fox Hill area.

On arrival, officers said they discovered the body of the man with multiple gunshot wounds.

“We are working as much as possible to determine what actually happened here,” said Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) Press Liaison Superintendent Shanta Knowles.

“Our information is very limited at this time. We are appealing to members of the public, especially those who are in this area – which seems to be a  very quiet area and are closely knitted – who may have information that can assist us with this investigation, to please contact us at the Central Detective Unit (CDU) at 502-9991/2, our Crime Stoppers line at 328-TIPS (8477) or 911 or 919.”

Investigations, she said, are ongoing.
