Jones named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Jonquel Jones this week was named as the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Eastern Conference Player of the Week by the league.

Through four games, Jones averaged 16.8 points, 14.3 rebounds and 2.25 blocks.

Jones and the Sun will be back in action tonight against the Los Angeles Sparks and former Connecticut Sun Chiney Ogwumike. Jones replaced Ogwumike in the Sun’s starting line up after she was traded prior to the start of the 2019 season.
