North Eleuthera students were a part of an historical moment yesterday as they participated in the first ever college far sponsored by Junior Achievement Bahamas on the island.
Organized by the area’s MP, Howard Rickey Mackey, the fair, which usually only takes place in New Providence, was hosted at the The Landing Hotel in Harbour Island.
Taking part in the event were 10 colleges and/or universities and was attended by about 150 students from four high school across the island of Eleuthera.
With the fair being heralded as a success, plans are already underway to make it an annual event.
