In an effort to boost his collegiate stock, forward Wilkenson Isnord yesterday announced his decision to transfer to the Puntam Science Academy in Connecticut for the 2018-19 season.

Isnord has already attracted a number of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I schools, including Virginia Tech, Boston College, St. Bonaventure, Gulf Coast University, Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and James Maddison University, among others.

Isnord earned two of the those offers this summer playing for the Showtime Ballers on the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Circuit. Isnord delivered 10 points in the Ballers’ final game of the tournament, a win over South Carolina.

In 30 games at Blanche Ely High School last season, he averaged 6.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game as the Tigers claimed the Class 8A state title.

Isnord spent most of last season ranked as one of the top 100 players in the state of Florida by Florida Hoops. He checked in at No. 56 on the list and No. 9 overall at his position. The list was headed by Duke University guard R.J. Barrett, who is best known for leading Canada to a win over the United States in the semi-final round of the FIBA (International Basketball Federation) Under-19 World Cup in Cairo, Egypt last summer.
