NASSAU, BAHAMAS- A tennis clinic for 25 young children affected by Hurricane Dorian was held on Sunday at The National Tennis Centre. The event was organized by IC (International Tennis Clubs) member Mike Keating.

The Juniors participating in the IC Rod Laver Junior Challenge from The Bahamas, Mexico, Barbados and the United States, along with their coaches, led small groups in tennis sessions.

The goal of the clinic was to afford the kids the chance to get out of the shelter and participate in a fun activity.

“The IC motto ‘hands across the net and friendships across the ocean’ was exemplified today as the sport of tennis was shared and the lives of so many youngsters were impacted,” Keating said. “The juniors had the pleasure of giving back of their time and talent. The kids who were invited to the clinic had an opportunity to come out of the shelter walls and to experience a time of fun and laughter as they played tennis.”
