Hield donates $100,000 to Hurricane Dorian relief

Buddy Hield has come forward to help those affected by Hurricane Dorian.

Today, Hield donated $100,000 dollars to residents in Abaco and Grand Bahama that were affected by Hurricane Dorian. He also launched a social media campaign encouraging people from The Bahamas and around the world to donate to the cause.

The email address for donating goods is: buddyhieldfoundation@gmail.com.

“My heart is broken for my country,” Hield said. “Bahamians are some of the strongest people I know, but even they need some assistance recovering from this storm. Every dollar donated to the cause will go toward helping those people in Grand Bahama and Abaco that were affected. I’d like for everyone to join me in bringing a sense of hope back to those people. Together, our donations can help restore hope, life and basic human needs to these battered areas over the next year.”
