Four arraigned on murder charges

Four men were charged in Magistrate Court today in connection with a string of murders in the capital.

Matthew Knowles was charged in connection with the murder of Errol Williams, a security guard at A.F. Adderley High School, who was shot multiple times while sitting in his vehicle on June 12.

McKenzie Cela, 25, and Haitian national Geram Sainvil, 23, were charged with the double murder of Malik and Delano Cartwright. The brothers were shot to death while in a barber on Jerome Ave. on June 9.

Phillano Willams, 29, was charged with two counts of murder. He’s accused of killing Donathan Hanna on June 26 and Anthony Bryce on June 11.

The men were not asked to plead and are remanded at the Bahamas Department of Corrections (BDOA) until October 10.
