Former FNM minister dies at 72

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Former FNM minister and member of parliament Tennyson Wells has died. Wells died at home in his sleep after recently being hospitalized,Eyewitness News was told. He was 71. Wells was appointed as president of the Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI), and chairman of its board, last year.
He was an MP for Bamboo Town, and also formerly served as attorney general and minister of agriculture and fisheries in the Ingraham administration.
