A partially decomposed body was discovered after police were called to St. Matthews graveyard, between Shirley and Doswell Streets on Sunday evening.
Police said during a visit to a deceased family member, a resident noticed a foul odor and reported it to the authorities. Upon arrival, authorities found a partially decomposed caucasian man, believed to be in his 60s and to be a vagabond.
Police have not yet classified this death and investigations are said to be ongoing.
