Three-star tackle Michael Cartwright verbally committed to play for the Indiana Hoosiers program over the weekend.
Cartwright last played right tackle for Champagnat Catholic and also held offers from Central Florida, Nebraska, Pitt, Southern Mississippi and Florida Atlantic, among others.
In February, 247 Sports named Cartwright as a top performer after his showing at The Opening regional scouting event in Miami.
“Cartwright has the length to play tackle, and he won his fair share of one-on-one reps,” 247 Sports’ Luke Stampini wrote.
“It’s clear Cartwright is still developing as a player, but from he showed on Sunday, his offer list should grow throughout the spring.”
Cartwright is the third offensive line to commit to Indiana during this recruitment cycle. He also plays basketball and participates in track and field at Champagnat.
