Member of Parliament (MP) for Bain and Grants Town Travis Robinson this morning called for the government to appoint a select committee on the Westminster system.
The call comes in the wake of Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis firing Robinson along with Pineridge MP Frederick McAlpine and Golden Isles MP Vaughn Miller last week for voting no to the value-added tax (VAT) increase in the 2018/2019 Budget.
Robinson told his colleagues that no one should be fired for voting their conscience.
