Second victim in serious condition
A man is dead and another with serious injuries after a shooting incident occurred at Bacardi Road near the park Friday afternoon.
According to reports, shortly before 6:00 p.m. yesterday, three men were sitting in a vehicle on Carmichael Road in the vicinity of Bacardi Road, when they were approached by an armed man who shot two of them before making good his escape.
The men were able to drive to the Flamingo Gardens Clinic, where one of them was later pronounced dead. The second injured man was transported to hospital in serious condition. The third male was not injured.
This pushes the country’s murder count to 58.
Investigations are onging.
