Police on Harbour Island, Eleuthera are investigating an early morning fire that destroyed a two-storey structure and left one person with injuries.
Investigators said it was shortly after 11:00 a.m., when a propane delivery truck was servicing a tank at a laundromat, when an explosion occurred, igniting the building; destroying it.
The building housed the laundromat at the bottom and apartments on top. One person was injured and has been brought to New Providence for further medical treatment, police said.
Investigations are said to be ongoing.
