Police are confirming that the child shot in the incident moments ago at Piper Lane off Palm Beach Street has died.
The status of the adult shot is still unknown.
Initial police reports indicated that the incident occurred at Homestead Street, just blocks away, where a man was shot and killed less than 24 hours ago.
It is unclear if both shooting incidents are related however Eyewitness News will bring you updates as they come in.
This latest incident takes the country’s murder count to 39.
