Bahamas wins U-12 Winter Cup

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Under-12 water polo team emerged victorious this weekend at the Junior Annual Winter Cup in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Team Bahamas topped YMCA Central Florida 17-11 in the gold medal game.

Mateo Munnings and Matthew Thompson had six goals each in the win. TJ Simon scores three, and Alex Miller and Chelsea Smith added one goal apiece.

In game one, team Bahamas beat the South Florida Water Polo Club 18-7, Thompson had nine goals, Simon had four and Munnings had three.

In the second game, The Bahamas beat YMCA Central Florida 14-7. Munnings had four and Thompson had three.
