Deputy Prime Minister Desmond Bannister visited the centers at Sheltair FBO at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and Banyan FBO at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport last week.

He was joined by Consul General Linda Mackey and Nathan Butler, senior customs/revenue officer, at Bahamas Customs on December 9.

The delegation met with the mayor of Broward County, officials from Sheltair FBO and Banyan FBO along with industry partners to review the progress of Clear Bahamas.

The center will preclear private and charter aircraft before arriving in The Bahamas, and expand opportunities into the Family Islands by allowing direct flights.
