Bahamas back on Disney Cruise Line itinerary

Disney Cruise Line announced its fall 2019 itinerary Tuesday and The Bahamas is back on the list, along with other Caribbean countries.

In the announcement on travel website Attractions Magazine, the cruise line stated, “In fall 2019, the Disney Cruise Line will return to two guest-favourite destinations and home ports on a variety of their itineraries, including voyages to The Bahamas, Bermuda, Baja, Canada and the Caribbean.”

“With cruises ranging from two-night escapes to week long trips, the season offers countless opportunities for Disney magic in exotic locales,” the announcement reads.

Disney Cruise line – also known as Disney Magic – is expected to also travel to New York in September for departures to a diverse set of destinations, including The Bahamas Bermuda and New Brunswick, Canada, according to the recent announcement.

Traveling to The Bahamas from New York, cruise ship guests will have the opportunity to relax on Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, according to Disney.

Additionally, Disney said it will commence trips from Texas to The Bahamas and other Caribbean countries starting in November.

The cruise line is said to make its home port in Galveston, Texas for a special set of sailings to the Caribbean and The Bahamas, with four, six and seven-night options.

Other Caribbean cruises include stops in Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico; and Falmouth, Jamaica.

It has also been indicated that in fall 2019, the Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream will continue to sail “guest favorite” itineraries to the Caribbean and The Bahamas from Port Canaveral, while the Disney Magic returns to Miami in November, with a variety of itineraries and cruise lengths.

The Disney Magic’s lineup includes three, four and five-night sailings to The Bahamas, and five and six-night Western Caribbean cruises, with most of these cruises to include a day ashore at Castaway Cay.
