Forty of the country’s best and brightest minds were honored this past weekend, in the 2018 edition of the 40 under 40 awards by Professional Services Bahamas (PSB) at the Sapodilla Reasturant on West Bay Street.

Each honouree was recognized for the strides they have made in their respective industries.

“The selection process is always difficult,” Forbes said.

“We have so many great candidates that applied. Over 150 did this year … and to narrow it down to 40 is a nightmare. Every year I say this, but this year is exceptional. We have a scientist, a coastal engineer … the selection was incredible…”

Among this years honourees was Eyewitness News Production Manager Judah Forbes who said he was simply honoured to be among some of the country’s greatest influencers.

“This is a God given blessing,” Forbes said.

“I feel privileged to be among so much professionals and so much entrepreneurs. It’s crazy.”

Eyewitness News Editor and Anchor Kendeno Knowles, who is also a 2017 40 under 40 recipient, was the keynote speaker. He encouraged the honorees to strive for the next level of success through introspection, a renewed mind and brutal honesty with one’s self.
