NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The Ministry of Health confirmed an additional 25 cases of COVID-19 yesterday.

The report indicates the new figures represent Thursday’s testing results.

Of the new cases, there were 10 on New Providence, 14 on Grand Bahama and one case with the location still pending.

There are currently 15 hospitalized cases, with 14 people “moderately ill” and one patient in intensive care.

As of Thursday, there were 1,368 active cases and a total of 6,058 recovered cases.

The total number of deaths remains at 163, with another 24 deaths still under investigation.

According to health officials, 334 tests were completed on Thursday.
